There is something magical that happens when an idea in your head, or a word on the page is spoken aloud and resonates with meaning, intention and personality.  For me, the best communicators are those who, aside from being clear, confident and engaging, reveal a little something of themselves along the way, something that hooks our interest, that makes them memorable.

I have always been drawn to story as the foundation of communication and the building blocks of effective storytelling and communication lie in the voice, the body and language.  I have an eye for detail, an ear for nuance and I take great pleasure in teaching clients the tools to build their skillset, develop their confidence and unlock their potential.

With a degree in English Literature, an MA in Voice and twenty years experience as an actor and voice over, I understand the power of connecting and the anxieties and habits that can get in the way. I’ve developed a large toolkit to help clients achieve vocal control, physical freedom and clarity of thought.  The Serlin Method has added considerably to my own skillset and offers engaging, effective and achievable techniques that have an outsized impact.  I have worked with clients from a broad range of sectors, but whether a client works in medicine, journalism, academia or finance, the elements of effective and engaging communication remain the same because we are all human.

While the obstacles clients encounter in their communication often have similar roots, each client has a unique set of challenges to navigate and specific outcomes in mind.  Our sessions are collaborative, in understanding your goals and what has been tripping you up, I can develop sessions that speak to your needs, this is not a one size fits all communication course.  The process should be warm, supportive and fun, an opportunity to try things out, learn from mistakes and build an embodied understanding of what works best for you as you build your knowledge and grow in confidence.
