Case Study
A team of managers and specialists from Thurn Partners, including leaders from sales, data science, and talent, joined LSW for two Full-Day Workshops. While confident in one-to-one conversations, many found it difficult to speak concisely, reduce filler words, and structure potentially challenging messages clearly under pressure.

For many in the group, presence became harder to hold when conversations grew tense. Some were preparing for team updates and leadership conversations, potentially tricky situations that required confidence and connection.
The shared challenge was clear: to show up with authority and calm under pressure. While many had strong instincts, they lacked a repeatable approach and structure they could lean on when the stakes were high.
Confidence in these moments varied across the group, with the lowest third averaging 4.9 out of 10 before the workshop.
The teams coach, Becky, introduced a set of practical tools that helped address these specific needs.
Stepping Stones supported participants in structuring their thoughts clearly and intentionally on the spot. Participants tried this out live in the workshop and found they could provide updates, pitches, and spontaneous responses unflustered.
Tools like Bodyspeak and Gesture helped sharpen delivery, focusing on using hands, pausing, and physical presence to reduce distraction and project more authority when delivering potentially tricky messages.
Several participants who started with the lowest confidence saw dramatic improvement, with increases ranging from 33% to 100% in how prepared and in control they felt ahead of .
Stepping Stones was named the most useful tool by 30% of the group.
The Team really bonded with their Coach, Becky, who they rated 5 out of 5 for her delivery of the tools. She left 100% of participants feeling more equipped to communicate clearly and confidently. Every attendee said they would be keen to continue the training with Becky.
The workshops gave the team practical ways to be more intentional, more concise, and more impactful, especially when it mattered most.
Becky is a great facilitator and a pleasure to learn from. She engages the room from start to finish and also had us laughing throughout. I really enjoyed my time with her!

London Speech Workshop is a values-led communication coaching company helping people speak with confidence, authenticity, and impact. Through our Serlin Method™, we blend psychology and performance to create powerful, human transformation for individuals and organisations alike.
We operate across B2B (corporate programmes) and B2C (individual coaching via online purchase), and are entering an exciting phase of growth across both.
We’re a warm, dynamic team with a simple ethos: do meaningful work, and do it well.
This is a broad, hands-on role owning the full financial function of the business — with scope to act as a strategic partner to the leadership team.
You’ll move between detail and big picture: ensuring everything runs smoothly day-to-day, while helping us understand performance, improve profitability, and make confident financial decisions.

London Speech Workshop is a values-led communication coaching company helping people speak with confidence, authenticity, and impact. Through our Serlin Method™, we blend psychology and performance to create powerful, human transformation, for individuals and organisations alike.
We work with SMEs, charities, and household names including Unilever, Chanel, John Lewis, and the Bank of England. We’re in an exciting growth phase across B2B, B2C, and digital, and marketing is central to this next chapter.
We have a lateral working structure, a warm and dynamic team, and a simple ethos: our people should feel valued and know they’re delivering real value in the world. We look for good eggs with talent and grit.
This is not a purely strategic role. You’ll be deep in the detail; building funnels, shaping messaging, testing ideas, and driving performance, while leading a Marketing Manager and managing freelancers, agencies, and partners.
One morning you’re sketching a landing page wireframe. That afternoon you’re coaching your manager or reviewing PPC performance. You’re as comfortable in the data as you are in a creative brief.
