I’m a Senior Coach at LSW, and I love helping clients learn how to speak with genuine confidence and express themselves authentically. I’m originally from the States, with a background in acting. My interest in voice and communication began after I started losing my voice during performances. I had to navigate vocal therapy and that shifted my entire understanding on how the voice works. The vulnerability I experienced during that process is what drives my work today.
To deepen this expertise, I moved to London to earn an MFA in Voice Studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. By combining my performance background and accent coaching skills with a more holistic understanding of the voice, I now help professionals bridge the gap between feeling nervous and feeling empowered.
Whether you are struggling with stage fright or looking to develop a stronger executive presence, I provide practical tools to help you stay grounded. I work with a wide range of professionals to build effective communication and accent confidence habits that stick. My favorite memory has to be working with a client who came to see me just twenty-four hours before they were due to lead a high-profile panel. They sat down and told me, “I can’t do it.” They were overwhelmed by the pressure and ready to back out. We spent the session stripping away the “performance” and focusing on practical grounding techniques and simple, manageable communication habits. By the time they left, the panic had shifted into a sense of optimism. They ended up leading the panel brilliantly and, more importantly, they felt genuinely confident throughout. Seeing that transformation from “I can’t” to “I did it” in such a short window is exactly why I do this work.
I used to over-explain a lot, dumping every detail into a conversation just to make sure I was being clear. I eventually realised I was just going off on tangents and giving way too much information up front. Now, I trust my message to stand on its own, and I’ve found that saying less actually helps people understand me a whole lot better.
I’ve always admired Brené Brown. She is so good at taking complex, deeply human experiences and making them incredibly accessible through her unique storytelling. What I admire most is her grounded confidence and genuine approachability – she doesn’t rely on a polished, robotic delivery. Instead, she uses her voice to build an immediate, honest connection with her audience. She proves that being a powerful speaker is about being authentic, vulnerable and having the courage to show up as yourself.
My perfect Sunday would be a long walk, to get out in nature, or exploring a local market. Followed by a catch up with friends, over a delicious meal, and ending with quiet time in front of the television to watch a show or film, with my wife.
