About James
There’s no better feeling than experiencing a client’s ‘light-bulb’ moment, and as a coach at London Speech Workshop, I get to experience this joy every day. My professional life has always revolved around helping others find their voice. After my BA in English Language and Communication, I taught English as an additional language for several years. I then completed an MA in Voice Studies: Teaching and Coaching, which led to me coaching spoken voice for actors and professionals and working as a dialect coach for theatre, film, and TV, and currently as a lecturer at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
I love working for London Speech Workshop because our values of kindness and authenticity are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that effective communication starts with being true to yourself.
The Serlin Method is a revelation. It takes incredibly complex concepts and makes them tangible and easy to grasp. This structured approach demystifies communication, giving people the tools they need to unlock their potential and view their communication skills not as a mystery, but as a learnable skill.
