About Zoe
I’m a friendly, supportive coach with a background in music and theatre, having performed on stages in several parts of the world. I am from Singapore by way of New York City, and am currently based in London. I would describe my accent as a mix of all the places I’ve lived!
After training at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, I completed an MFA in Voice Studies at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Since then, I’ve coached hundreds of people in voice, accents and communication. My coaching style focuses on the joy and empowerment of self-discovery. I also serve on the peer‑review editorial board for the Voice and Speech Review, and my research interests lie in neuroinclusive, equitable learning and the mind‑body connection in voice work.
I love being part of a team that values kindness and empathy. What I value most about the Serlin Method is that it’s practical, playful, and grounded in psychology.
